Crib sheets wrap baby in comfort

You have decided on that perfect crib for the baby that will be here soon, so now is the time to purchase the crib sheets.  Whether your choice is the standard Rectangle crib, the convertible crib, the round crib, or the corner crib there are many varieties of crib sheets to chose from to fit any style of crib. You can chose from cotton, flannel, percale and jersey in a wide variety of colors, and there are also many themed crib sheets to make that little one feel special. 

If you decide that you want your sheets to match those designs in the drapes or curtains, you can have them especially made and then you may also want to purchase matching blankets and throw pillows, or if you are a seamstress, you can sew your own crib sheets at a much cheaper cost to you.

An important thing to know about the Crib sheets are that they must be a snug tight fit and the corners of the sheet must tuck under the mattress to prevent the baby from pulling on the sheet and it coming loose causing strangulation or suffocation.  Never use regular adult type sheets on a babies crib.  If you are worried about the crib sheet pulling off, there are several products that encase the entire mattress with the sheet so there is not danger of the fitted sheet coming loose.
